Mavis Dye Price, 86, of Columbia died Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.  Born in Casey County she was the daughter of the late Arnold J. and Zimmer Turner Dye and wife of the late Thomas Price.

Mrs. Price was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and a retired School Teacher serving Adair County Schools for over 30 years.

Survivors include her son Jim Price of Columbia and two grandchildren Abbygail and Alana Price of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Shelton officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 5:30-8:00pm at the funeral home and continue Tuesday morning until time for the service.  Burial will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
