MAURICE KEYS age 82 years of Columbia, KY passed away suddenly

Monday, January 9, 2012 at his home on Edmonton Road, Columbia, KY

He was born in Columbia, KY on October 14, 1929 the son of the late:

Roy Samuel and Lorena Sullivan Keys of Adair County, KY

Mr. Keys was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea and was a laboratory technician

at B.F. Goodrich in Louisville, KY for 30 years

Survived by two daughters:

Marsha English of Jeffersonville, Indiana

Rhonda Johnson of Clarksville, Indiana

One son:

Glen Keys of Sellersburg, Indiana

One brother: Bill Keys of Columbia, KY

His longtime companion: Dorothy Shelley of Columbia, KY

8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 nieces

Survived by a host of friends

He was preceded in death by one daughter Nancy Keys in 1987

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 1:00 PM

Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Columbia VFW

The family request visitation from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and after

6:00 A.M. on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
