Mattie Wynema “Wanda” Ballou, 87, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Columbia, KY on January 31, 1939, to the late Samuel Allen and Lula Keen Stephens. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carlos Ballou and all her siblings.

Mrs. Ballou was a member of the Columbia Nazarene Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday after 9:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Tim Crawhorn will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jesse Page, Chris Emerson, Glenn Stephens, Jr., Kristin Stephens, Terry Lynn Dudley, and Ronnie Grider.
