Matrie M. Smallwood age 82 years of 121 Hidden Ridge Lane, Clinton, TN

Formerly of Adair County passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 at

12:45 A.M. at her home in Clinton, TN

She was the daughter of the late Hugh & Rutha Thomas Stotts of Adair

County and was the widow of James E. Smallwood who preceded her in

Death in 1981

Survived by two sons: James Smallwood of the Chance community,

Columbia, Ky. & Danny Smallwood & his wife Rita of Bardstown, Ky.

One daughter: Elaine Howard & her husband Ray of Clinton, TN

11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren

and a host of other relatives & friends survives

Preceded in death by one daughter & son-in-law Patsy & Jr. Rogers,

A daughter-in-law Peggy Smallwood on Dec. 25, 2006 also preceded in by

One sister: Dorothy Akin

Matrie was a retired nurse

There will be no local visitation

Burial will be Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 in the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney, IL
