Matrie (Hill) Roach, 95 years, born October 1st, 1928 passed from our hands into God's loving arms on March 7th, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love for her family and friends to cherish. Born in Chance, KY, Matrie spent most of her life in the Chicago area until relocating to Florida for the past 4 years. Married to the late Damen Roach, daughter to Elic and Katie (Coomer) Hill, sister to to Airie, Rosey, Cecil, Tommy, Ruby, Flossie, Chester and Hazel. Mother to Linda (Fiance Don F.) Gerritsen nee Roach and John (Mary Ann Zellmann) Roach. Grandmother to Dylin and James Gerritsen. No words can express what a God loving, selfless, kind, woman she was. Matrie was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
