Mary Sue Young, 67, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Gallatin, TN on January 31, 1954 to the late Clyde and Agnes Marie Chandler Reecer.  She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Young, Jr. and three siblings Julia White, Johnny Reecer and Charles Reecer.

Survivors include a daughter Marie Parker (Bryan) of Russell Springs, KY; two step-children Carol Hasty (Shannon) of Livingston, KY and Rollie Williams (Jennifer) of Stanford, KY; six grandchildren Bryan, Chessley, James, John, Brianna and Jerry Parker; four siblings Dorothy Ray (David), Randy Reecer (Paulette), Robert Reecer (Darlene) and Sammy Reecer all of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
