passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at 3:10 A.M. at the Norton Audubon

Hospital in Louisville, KY after several months illness.

She was the daughter of the late: Otha Butler and Anna Lewis Harper Miller of

Adair County, Kentucky

She was a teachers aid at John Adair Elementary for several years and worked

At the Student Union Building of Lindsey Wilson College for 16 years.

She was a longtime member of the Columbia Baptist Church

Mrs. Pickett was preceded in death by her husband: Ellis Pickett on Oct. 23, 1981

Three brothers: Sam Miller, Don Miller and Otha Butler Miller Jr.

One sister: Julia Russell Miller

Survived by one son: Billy Pickett of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Julia Thompson of Columbia, KY

Two sisters: Billie Jo Edwards and Thelma Harper Cundiff both of Columbia, KY

Two grandsons: Rodney Louis Thompson & James Murrell Thompson

Six grandchildren: Justin Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Linsey Thompson,

Brandon Thompson, Abigail Thompson, Ally Thompson

One great grandchild: Albany Paige Thompson
