Mary Ernestine Bennett, 86, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Adair County on July 7, 1937, to the late Enos and Ozella Coomer Moss. She was also preceded in death by a brother Delbert Moss.

Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Morris Chapel Methodist Church and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Walton Bennett of Columbia, KY; two daughters Sandy Bennett (Tommy) and Missie Harvey (Kevin) both of Columbia, KY; three grandchildren Jason Sneed (Candace) of Campbellsville, KY, Tasha Davis of Columbia, KY, and Kayla Coomer (Logan) of White House, TN; four great grandchildren Riley Thomas, Brooklyn Thomas, Maddie Davis, Oaklynn Sneed and several other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, December 8, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Steve Coffey will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jason Sneed, Kevin Harvey, Rex Bennett, Tim Moss, Logan Coomer, Ronnie Bragg, and Donnie Bragg.
