MARY HELEN MONTGOMERY, 96 of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, October 8, 2018

at 9:45 PM at the T J Health Columbia Hospital.

She was born near Columbia, KY on January 8, 1922 the daughter of the late Irvin and Cora Whitlock Keltner.

She was preceded in death by all of her 12 siblings.

Preceded in death by her husband: James L. Montgomery in February 2008

Survived by one daughter:  Marsha Godsey and husband Larry of Columbia, KY

One son: Kenneth Montgomery and wife Pam of Columbia, KY

Four grandchildren: Michael Godsey, Brent Godsey, Jennifer Montgomery,

Brian Montgomery

Seven great grandchildren

Survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends

She was a member of the Columbia Christian Church

Mrs. Montgomery along with her husband operated the Montgomery Grocery for 20 years and worked at the Adair County School System for 11 years.
