Mary Wanda Kelsay, 63, of Columbia, KY, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was born on December 28, 1962, in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Arthur Silas and Opal Richard Kelsay. She was also preceded in death by a stillborn son Charles David Kelsay and a brother Junior Kelsay.

Mary will be remembered as someone who loved animals and was a true people person. Her warmth and caring spirit touched the lives of those around her, and she was known for the kindness she shared so naturally with others. She found meaning in faith and was proud to be a member of Freedom Church of God.

Survivors include four siblings James Randall Kelsay, Frances Cortney (Tommy), Lisa Cortney (Bennie) and Lola Coy (Larry) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. David Karnes will be officiating and pallbearers will be Larry Coy, Aaron Coy, Bennie Cortney, Tommy Cortney, Michael Bragg and Michael Allen.
