Mary Louise Grant, 85, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Jamestown, KY. She was born on May 14, 1940, in Adair County to the late Willie Ray and Ruth Ellen Wilson Grider. She was preceded in death by her husbands Edgar Scott and Joe Grant.

Mrs. Grant attended New Concord Community Church and enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include five siblings Juanita Grider McKinney, Bernice Grider Rooks (Mitchell), Ed Grider, and Doug Grider (Lynn) all of Columbia, KY and Alene Stone of Summitville, IN; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Chris Rooks.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by three siblings Dan Grider, Norene Grider, and James A. Grider.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm and will continue Thursday until funeral time at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Willard Parson and Bro. Troy Grider will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Chris Rooks, Brandon Cowan, Jacob Campbell, Josiah Geissinger, Brandon Grider, Byron Corbin, Tyler Cowan, and Matt Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Patton, Jessie Brown, Ralph Curry, Reed Grant, and Barry Smith.
