Mary Helen Goodin age 87 years of the Millerfield Community of Adair County passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014 at 5:01 P.M. at her home after an illness

She was born on September 1, 1926 in Gradyville, Ky.

She was daughter of the late Cassius & Ginnie Lou Jessie Coomer

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph C. Goodin Jr. on

April 13, 1998

also preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Brockman in Oct. 5, 2011,

Three brothers & two sisters Lawrence Coomer, Lucian Coomer,

Thurman Coomer, Christine Sexton & Kathryn Hitch

She is survived by one daughter Judith Sinclair of Columbia, Ky.

One son Gary (Jeanette) Goodin of Campbellsville, Ky.

Son-in-law Danny Brockman of Columbia, Ky.

One brother Azro Coomer of Columbia, Ky.

7 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great

Grandchildren

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

Mrs. Goodin was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church,

had worked at Union Underwear in Campbellsville, Ky. & worked at

Country Inn Resturant on Jamestown Street in Columbia, Ky.

Funeral service Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at

New Hope Separate Baptist Church

Visitation after 4:00 PM Friday and after 6:00 AM Saturday until

9:30 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home & after

10:00 AM. at the church
