Mary Lee Carter age 89 years of Sano Road, Columbia, Ky. passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at 5:45 AM.at her home

She was born on Nov. 14, 1922 in Adair County

She was the daughter of the late Johnny & Rissie Conover Denton and

the widow of Lee Bob Carter who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1985

she is survived by one daughter: Phyllis Jo Rooks of Columbia, Ky.

one son: Phillip Carter & his wife Sue of Columbia, Ky.

Three sisters: Helen Denton of Columbia, Ky.

Cleoda Cox & Catherine Fisher of Edinburgh, IN

8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren

She was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, neighbors and friends

She was preceded in death by one great grandchild,

also three brothers & one sister

James Denton, Robert Denton, John Arnold Denton & Ethal Pearl Campbell

She was a member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church & a housewife
