Martha Hale age 70 years of 1335 Jamestown St., Columbia passed away Friday

May 16, 2008 at 2:50 P.M. at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

She was the daughter of the late Emit & Nevada Combest Hammond of Russell County

Survived by her husband: Nathan Hale of Columbia, Ky.

One son: Mark Hale & his wife Michele of Glensfork, Ky.

Two daughters: Jennifer Holland & her husband Bill of Russell Springs, Ky. &

Monica Davis & her husband Dean of Anderson, South Carolina

Two sisters: Marsha Howard of Campbellsville, Ky. & Marlene Blair of Russell Springs, Ky.

Two grandchildren: Summer Bertram & Andrew Sturgill

Preceded in death by two brothers: Marion Hammond & Morris Hammond

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews & a host other relatives & friends survive

Martha was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, had worked at Ben Franklin, Mana Shoes & Wall-Mart in Columbia

Funeral service Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary
