He was born August 26, 1940 near Christine, KY the son of the late Jesse and Emma Hadley Burton

One son survives: Marshall Lee Burton and wife: Gola of Columbia, KY

Marsha Ann Woods and husband Ricky of Columbia, KY

Tellia Faye Willis and husband Phil of Alsip, Illinois

Christee Renee Burton and husband William England of Columbia, KY

One brother survives: J.D. Burton of Edinburg, Indiana

Bernice Rooks of Columbia, KY

Catherine Janes of Columbia, KY

Linda Gail Bell of Columbia, KY

Helen Irvin of Columbia, KY

12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren survive
