Mark Raymond Dunphy, age 66, of Columbia, KY passed away suddenly early Monday morning at 2:40 AM on December 12, 2016 at the TJ Sampson Columbia ER

He was born February 13, 1950 in Boston, MA; the son of the late John Dunphy

Survived by his Mother: Georgina Byers Cuthbert of Rye, New York

His wife Judith Ann Ewert Dunphy of Columbia, KY

One daughter: Gina Collins and her husband Joe of Columbia

Two step-sons: Daniel Tishar of Columbia, KY and David Tishar of Breeding, KY

Two brothers: John Dunphy of Greenfield, MA and Steve Dunphy of Chicago, IL

Two grandsons: Miles Collins & Luke Collins of Columbia, KY

Also survived by several relatives and friends

He was a member of the Good Shephard Catholic Church, had a PhD in English and was a professor at Lindsey Wilson College

A celebration of the life of Mark Dunphy will be held Tueday, January 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the V P Henry Auditorium, Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY

Cremation was chosen
