She was born on June 9, 1923 in Adair County

She was the daughter of the late Oscar & Laura Alley Smiley

& was the widow of Waymon Burton who preceded her in death on

Aug. 25, 2004 also preceded in death by two brothers Eldred Smiley &

Demaree Smiley

She is survived by two sisters: Jean Quinn of Columbia, KY &

Marie Stephens of Indianapolis, IN

Two brothers: Philip (Brenda) Smiley of Campbellsville, KY &

Bobby Smiley of Greenwood, IN

One sister-in-law Sue Fisette of Edinburgh, IN

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives

She was a member of Purdy Separate Baptist Church & retired from

Union Underwear in Campbellsville, KY
