LYLE HEITZ, 88 years of Columbia, KY formerly of Illinois and Colorado passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 11:03 PM at the TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky after several weeks illness

He was born June 7, 1928 in Bement, Illinois the son of the late

Russell Glen and Dorothy Jane Pierce Heitz

Survived by his wife: Marilyn Sweeney Heitz of Columbia, KY

His children: Karen Norman of Florida, Kathy Hamann of Florida,Karol Levy of Florida, Debbie Jess of Illinois, Sherry Bugle of Illinois, David Heitz of Illinois, Doug Heitz of Florida, Rik Deaton of Ohio

One brother: Russell Jean Heitz of Illinois

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

Survived by one nephew

Mr. Heitz was a farmer, member of the Elks Lodge # 319 in Cripple Creek, Colorado and a member of the National Rifle Association
