Edinburgh, Indiana

She was the daughter of the late: Tim & Mary Jane Burton of Adair County, KY

She married Robert William Burton on Dec. 13, 1947 he preceded her in death on

April 22, 1983

Survived by one daughter: Darlene Foster & husband Ralph of Columbia, Ky

Two sons: Lewis Burton & wife: Hettie of Edinburgh, Indiana

Ricky Burton & wife: Lisa of Taylorsville, Indiana

Two brothers: Charles Burton & wife: Peggy of Columbia, KY

Randall Burton & wife: Judy of Columbia, KY

Five sisters: Bernice Cowan & husband Calvin Loeta Redmon and Phyllis Shirley & her husband Donnie of

Columbia, KY,Madeline Grider & husband Dan of Anderson, IN

& Joyce Rodgers of Taylorsville, Indiana

Three grandchildren survive: Timothy Foster, Melissa Monson, Brian Foster

Four great grandchildren: Ashley Melson, Kristen Monson, Macey Foster, Christopher Sharpe

Three sisters in law: Srena Ann Burton of Dayton, Ohio

Margaret De Bell of Edinburgh, IL, Betty Coffey of Columbia, KY

She was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey Burton, and a sister Betty Jean Burton

She attended the Bearwallow United Methodist Church for many years and in latter years the

Bloomington Chapel and Who So Ever Will Community Church, she worked for 19 years at

Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

Funeral service: Monday, December 4, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bearwallow United Methodist Church

Interment in the Bearwallow Cemetery

The family request visitation Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary
