Lowell Woodruff "Woody" Goodin, 82, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center in Campbellsville, KY. He was born on October 19, 1942, in Columbia, KY to the late Lawrence "L.W." and Exuria Burton Goodin.
Mr. Goodin attended Bearwallow Church and was a founding member of the perpetual care fund at Bearwallow Cemetery. He enjoyed bluegrass music, playing the banjo, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Judith Ann Henson Goodin; two daughters Shannon Wolfe (Ian Brown) of England, and Stacey Thomas (Jerry) of Columbia, KY and; four grandchildren Jareth Wolfe (Kelly), Ryan Wolfe (Sophie), Taylor McGuire, and Stacy Nicole Hopper (Jeremy); three great grandchildren Madison, Adalyn, and Carly Hopper ; three sisters Lucille Lemmon of Danville, KY, Mary Lou Davis of Cincinnati, OH, and Wanda McGaha of Indiana; a sister-in-law Denise Goodin; a brother-in-law Donnie Henson (Vicki) and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Leemon, Charles, and Danny Wayne Goodin and brothers and sisters-in-law Clifford Davis, Dennis McGaha, Carl Lemmon, Dennis Henson (Irene), Alvin Henson (Grace), and Winnie Tarter (Travis).
Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday after 11:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Paul Patton will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jareth Wolfe, Ryan Wolfe, Taylor McGuire, Mark Goodin, Barry Davis, and Trevor Henson.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Bearwallow Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund and can be left at the funeral home.
