Lorene Spoon age 82 of the Melson Ridge Road Community of Jamestown, KY died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 10:05 AM at The Liberty Care Center in Liberty, KY.  She was born on December 21, 1934 in Fairplay, KY.   She was the daughter of the late Wint and Lela Hadley Spoon.  In addition to her parents she was preceded by one brother, James Oliver Spoon.

Lorene is survived by two sisters:

Margaret Ann Lawless of Jamestown, KY

Edith Flatt and her husband Billy of Jamestown, KY

A special friend:

Sam Back of Jamestown, KY

Several nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

Lorene professed her faith at Griders Chapel Church and also attended the Creelsboro Christian Church when able.  She retired from Osh Gosh where she worked for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, the outdoors, and loved being surrounded with family and friends.
