LINDA KERNS, 74 years of the Sulphur Creek Road, Columbia, KY passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY after several months illness.

She was the daughter of the late Sam and Nina Stargel Rector. She was preceded in death by her husband Rollin Kerns on April 7, 2015

She is survived by one daughter: Paulette Cox and her husband Jerry of Campbellsville, KY

Two sons: Dennis Kerns and his wife Alicia of Campbellsville, KY

and Brian Kerns of Jamestown, KY

One grandchild: Miranda Scott

Two brothers: J.C. Rector & Jerry Rector both of

Columbia, KY

Two sisters: Jewel Belton & Nelda June Wolford both of Louisville, KY

Linda was a cook for the Adair County school system, homemaker and a babysitter for many years
