He was the son of the late: Vernor & Florence Brainard Cornell of

Gilboa, New York

Mr. Cornell is survived by his wife of 67 years: June Dart Cornell of Columbia,KY

Two sons: Jeffrey Steven Cornell of Columbia, KY

Larry Lyndon Cornell of Binghamton, New York

One daughter: Bonnie Austina Budelman of Raleigh, North Carolina

6 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren also survive

He was preceded in death by one brother: Lyndon Cornell and one sister: Gladys Banner

Mr. Cornell was retired from the Bendix Corporation in Sidney, New York,

a U S Army veteran of World War II, he was Past Master of Masonic Lodge

#282 in Otego, New York, a member of the Order of Oddfellows, a member of the Methodist Church in Otego, New York and attended the Chestnut Grove

Community Church in Breeding, KY

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 5:30 PM at the Chestnut Grove Community Church, Chestnut Grove Road, Breeding, KY

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday evening at Chestnut Grove Community Church

The family has chosen cremation with interment at a later date in the
