She was born June 27, 1926 the daughter of the late: Fowler & Bina Appleby Norris of Clinton, County, Kentucky

Survived by her husband of 64 years:

She is survived by three sisters:

Dalen Dooley of Louisville, KY

Creola Blevins of Indianapolis, IN

Ruth Lollar of Indianapolis, IN

Mrs. Wooten was a retired teacher with the Jefferson County Public Schools and of the Methodist faith.
