8: 15 PM at the Westlake Regional Hospital after several years illness.

He was the son of the late: Vanus & Willie Pearl Shaw Coomer Johnson

of Adair County, Kentucky

Survived by his wife: Mary (Montgomery) Coomer of Columbia, KY

Two daughters: Rene' Perkins & husband: Kenny of Columbia, KY

Jennifer O'Neal Coomer of Columbia, KY

Two grandchildren: Magan Nicole Perkins & Blake Perkins

His mother in law: Rosetta Montgomery of Columbia, KY

Four brothers: Donald Coomer of Columbia, KY

Johnnie Coomer of Upton, KY

Tony Coomer of Columbia, KY

Jerry Coomer of Louisville, KY

One sister: Rebecca Crawhorn of Louisville, KY

Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends

He was a member of the Charity Baptist Church and member of Columbia Masonic Lodge # 96

Kirby was a former school bus driver for the Adair Co. Board of Education

and operated Coomer's Carpet Cleaning in Columbia for several years
