passed away Wednesday Jan. 22, 2014 at 6:42 P.M. at

the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was born on May 29, 1945 in Columbia, Ky.

She was the daughter of the late Ellis & Mary Welch Miller Pickett

& was preceded in death by one son James M. "Jamie" Thompson

On May 31, 2010

She is survived by one son Rodney Thompson II of Columbia, Ky.

One brother Billy Pickett of Columbia, Ky.

6 Grandchildren Justin "Kasey" Thompson, Sarah Thompson,

Linsey Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Abigail Thompson

& Ally Thompson

1 Great Grandchild Albany Thompson

Her companion Jim Woodrum

also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles & a host of other relatives &

friends

Julia was a member of Columbia Baptist Church where she enjoyed

and dedicated her time for the care of the landscaping of the

Columbia Baptist Church & she worked for Keena Jo Grant

Funeral service Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Orr Cemetery
