Formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Monday Feb. 26, 2018

at 3:15 P.M. at her home after an illness

She was born on April 26, 1946 in Lafayette, IN

She was the daughter of the late George & Lula Gentry Simpson

of Adair County

Preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lee Burton on

April 4, 2007

She is survived by one son:

Greg Lee Burton of Campbellsville, KY

Two sisters:

Marlene Moore of Columbia, KY

Phyllis Huffaker of Florida

Two Grandchildren Aliyah Burton & Gregory Burton

several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survives.

She was a member of Purdy Separate Baptist Church,

she had worked at the Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College

for several years, she had worked at Oshkosh B'Gosh factory

in Columbia, she loved taking care of her grandchildren
