Joyce Spurlock, 83 of Boston, KY formerly of Louisville, Ky and Fairplay, KY passed away Friday, September 21, 2018

at 8:09 AM at her home after a long illness.

She was born November  4, 1935 in Adair County, KY

She was the daughter of the late Odus & Elva Wheet Mitchum

The widow of Ernest Spurlock who preceded her death in 1998,

Also preceded in death by three brothers, William Leroy Mitchum,

Carmen  Odus  Mitchum  & Charles "Mitch" Mitchum, and by one grandson Aaron Marcus Spurlock

She is survived by

One daughter: Angela (Tim) Crume of Boston, KY

Two sons:    Larry (Shari) Spurlock of Parksville, KY

Craig (Kyra) Spurlock  Shepherdsville, KY

One sister:

Elva Jean Brown of Paducah, KY

Grandchildren:   Shannon Lynn Henson & Victoria Ann Spurlock

Step-Grandchildren:  Timothy Lee Crume Jr., Jodie Marie Crume,

Christine Sowers, Casey Hainline, Aaron Hainline

Ten Great Grandchildren also survive

Mrs. Spurlock was a former truck driver, she enjoyed watching TV and enjoyed her pets.

Interment in the McClister Cemetery at Fairplay, KY
