Joyce Watson Morris, 85, of Columbia, KY died Friday, May 22, 2020 at her residence.  Born in Knifley, KY she was the daughter of the late Gene and Linnie Bottoms Watson and wife of the late Bob Morris.

Mrs. Morris loved spending time with her family and especially pampering her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include five children Lana Cheek of Lexington, KY, Gary Cheek (Sharon) of Harrodsburg, KY, Kathy Duncan (Donnie) of Harrodsburg, KY, Donnie Cheek (Trish) of Independence, KY and Sandy Corbin (Hooty) of Columbia; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Willard and Billy Joe Watson and four sisters Madeline Cheek, Marie Collins, Norma Collins and Stella Tucker.

Mrs. Morris chose cremation and there will be a private memorial service on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. James Walker officiating.
