ALLENE HOLMES age 86 years of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 8:40 A.M. at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY

Mrs. Holmes was an educator in the Greater Clark County Indiana School System in Jeffersonville, IN for 27 years, she attended the New Life for the Nations Church in Columbia, KY and was a homemaker.

She was born January 29, 1927 in Dannville, Illinois

The daughter of the late: Austin and Cecil Lou Burton McKinney

Preceded in death by one brother Bobby McKinney and a sister: Louise McKinney

Survived by her husband: Sam Bingham Holmes of Columbia, KY

Three brothers:

Vernon Lee "Pete" McKinney of Columbia, KY

Steven McKinney of Columbia, KY

Gary Allen McKinney of Jeffersonville, IN

Also survived by several nieces nephews and a host of friends
