The Daughter of the late:Waymon & Minnie Susan Curry Burton of Adair Co. She was the widow of James Russell Denton who preceded her in death on August 3,1983 Survived by 5 sons: Leonard Denton ,Jimmy Denton & wife Juanita, Billy Denton & wife Fayrene, J.W. Denton & wife Mitchelene, Freddie Denton & wife Sharlet all of Columbia, Ky Three daughters: Sandra Byrant & husband Willard,Minnie Smith & husband Barry,Marty Ellis & husband Jimmy all of Columbia,Ky 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren anf a host of nieces,nephews and friends Mrs.Denton was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Everett Burton,William Burton, Oliver Burton and by 2 sisters:Eva Cowan & Elizabeth Kridner also preceded in death by a grandson David Wayne Denton in 1976 Mrs. Denton was a longtime member of the Free Union Separate Baptist Church and a homemaker Funeral Service: Tuesday,October 28,2008 at 1:00 PM at the Free Union Separate Baptist Church Clergy officating:Bro.
