JOHNIE HITCH age 78 years of 689 Sulpher Creek Road, Columbia, KY
passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 3:15 A.M. at the Westlake Regional
Hospital after a several months illness.
He was the son of the late: Lonza Alvin & Vina Pike Hitch of Adair County
Preceded in death by his wife: Harriett Katherine Hitch on Sept. 25, 2004
Survived by one daughter:
Nevis Redford and husband Greg of Columbia, KY
Two brothers: Robert Howard Hitch of Ft. Mitchell, KY
Alvin Hitch of Russell Springs, KY
Two sisters: Florence Edna Bennett of Birmingham, AL
Callie Rebecca Clark of Richmond, Virginia
Three grandsons: Jonathan Redford & wife Carrie, Joshua Redford & wife Jennifer,
and Jesse Redford and two great grandchildren
Preceded in death by these brothers and sisters Herbert Hitch & Dempsey Hitch,
Lorena Shepherd & Mary Frances Shepherd
Mr. Hitch attended Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, he was a farmer and
served in the US Army
