John Stewart "Stu" Lyons age 82 years of Columbia, KY passed away

at his home Tuesday , September 27, 2016 at 5:06 PM

He was born in Salt Lick, KY on June 13, 1934 the son of the late John Newton and Anna Beatrice Staton Lyons

He was preceded in death by his wife; Henreitta Elizabeth Lyons on March 11, 2011

Survived by one daughter Sonia Shane and her husband Bart of Baltimore, Maryland

One son: Jon Scott Lyons of Old Town, Florida

One brother: Roger Lyons of Kissimmee, Florida

Three sisters:

Delma Perrine of Old Town, Florida

Mary Lou Griffin of Orlando, Florida

Betty Balogh of Houston, Texas

Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive

Mr. Lyons was retired from the aerospace industry in Florida and was a US Air Force veteran and made his home in Columbia, KY for several years.

Funeral service: Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
