John L. Heilers, 74, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was born in Ferdinand, IN on November 18, 1950, to the late Linus and Lucille Boeglin Heilers.

Mr. Heilers was a member of the Adair County Cattlemen's Association and enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Rochelle Boland-Heilers of Columbia, KY; two sons Ben Heilers (Xing) and Greg Heilers (Fang) both of California; five grandchildren Nathan, Sophia, Rebecca, Bruce, and Henry Heilers; two step children Shandra Brakke of Cynthiana, KY and Trevor Boland (Pam) of Winchester, KY; three step-grandchildren Connor, Bryce, and James Boland; four siblings Tom Heilers (Karen) of Louisville, KY, Fred Heilers of Indiana, Sue Fergurson of Indiana, and Mary Ellen Copes (Ronnie) of Texas.

The family honored Mr. Heilers wishes with cremation and a memorial visitation will be on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
