Jimmie Dale Moye, 72, of Columbia passed away Thursday April 24, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on May 1, 1952, in Elgin, Illinois to the late Bertis Edgar Moye and Eva Loraine Enman Moye. He was preceded in death by two siblings Gene Moye and Terry Moye.

Mr. Moye was a member of the Grace Family Church in Illinois and enjoyed old cars, mowing the lawn, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Glenna Moye of Columbia, KY; three children Jeremy Moye of Columbia KY, Kelli Miller (Brad) of Columbia, KY, and Jimmie Scott Moye (Kari) of Jamestown, KY; six grandchildren Tylar Moye, Tristin Moye, Sebastian Moye, Destinee Rednour, Zoe Moye, Madden Moye; one great grandchild Willow Moye; two siblings Janie Towner (Tom) and Larry Moye both of Illinois; and special friends Randy and Marg Rasmussen of Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday May 2, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow the service. Visitation will be on Friday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
