Jerry Dale Simpson, 73, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 1, 1952, in Burkesville, KY to the late Willie E. and Beulah Olene Wright Simpson.

Mr. Simpson professed his faith in Jesus Christ and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a brick layer for many years and enjoyed working around the house and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Darlene Frances Davidson Simpson of Columbia, KY; two children Julie Brockman (Jon) and William Simpson both of Columbia, KY; six grandchildren Jacob Brockman (Lorren), Justin Brockman, Jarrett Brockman, Alyssa Simpson, Bailey Simpson, and Brystol Simpson; a great grandson Emmaus Brockman and three sisters. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

The family honored Mr. Simpson's wishes for private services with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
