Jeffrey Kattas Brown, 66, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his residence. He was born on September 11, 1957, in Ottawa, IL to the late Joseph K. and Wanda Young Brown.

Mr. Brown was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed boating and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Melody Hale Brown of Columbia, KY; his twin daughter and son Jayme Lee Brown and Joshua Kattas Brown both of Tennessee; three step-children Vincent Schultz of Columbia, KY, Amanda Head (Chris) of Michigan, and Christina Schipiour (Chris) of Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters Jennifer Richner (Mike), Jill Eades, and Jan Litterly (Jim) all of Illinois; several other friends and relatives also survive.

Mr. Brown chose cremation and a celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm Friday, November 10, 2023 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 10, 2023 after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
