Jeanette Schaefer, 80, of Columbia, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at T. J. Health Columbia. She was born in Russell Springs, KY on May 11, 1942, to the late Frye and Alta Rexroat Holtzclaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jerome Schaefer.

Jeanette was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include five children Leslie Shannon Stephens of Columbia, KY, Glenn Stephens, Jr. (Ann) of Glensfork, KY, Teresa Stephens and Jennifer Stephens-Kuper (Richard) both of Colorado Springs, CO and Sonya Wilson (Bernard) of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren Nicholas Warner (Destiny), Kristen Stephens (Chantel) and B. J. Wilson; great-grandchildren Shyia, Jaxon, Dorian and Amari; step grandchildren Miranda Gray (Cain), Melissa Rodgers and Quinten Smith; step great-grandchildren Briceson and Zoe and a sister Patsy Hancock of Arizona.

Mrs. Schaefer chose cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.
