JANICE D. BAILEY, 74 of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. She was born November 17, 1941 in Columbia, KY the daughter of the late William B. and Ada Florence Simpson Cowan.

Janice married James Tyler Bailey Sr. August 4, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2005 also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters

Janice is survived by her loving children, James Tyler Bailey Jr. and wife Katrina of Fortville, Indiana Harold A Bailey and wife Julie of Crestview, Florida and Martie J. Corbin and husband Glen of Columbia, KY

One brother William W. Cowan

7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren survive

Janice was a former member of The Bible Church and a current member of Lawrence Apostolic Church.

Funeral service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel 9606 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana

Visiting will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 3:00 PM until time for service

A graveside service and committal will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Bearwallow Cemetery on Liberty Road in Columbia, KY

Memorial contributions may be made to Lawrence Apostolic Church
