James M. "Jamie" Thompson age 41 years of Mt. Washington, Ky. passed away

Monday, May 31, 2010 at his home

He was the son of Julia Pickett Thompson of Columbia, Ky. & Rodney Thompson Sr.

& his wife Deborah of Mt. Washington, Ky.

Besides his parents he is survived by one son: Justin Thompson of Shepherdsville, Ky.

Two daughters: Linsey Thompson & Ally Thompson of Louisville, Ky.

One brother: Rodney Thompson II of Columbia, Ky.

Granddaughter: Albany Thompson

Two nieces and one nephew

One uncle: Billy Pickett of Columbia, Ky.

his grandmother Mable Thompson of Columbia, Ky.

He is also survived by his former wife Paula Thompson & a host of other relatives & friends survive

Jamie was employed by Ford Motor Company, Louisville Assembly Plant and a member

of UAW 862 for 17 years before returning to college. He would have graduated later

this year from Spaulding University. He was a member of First Baptist Church in

Mt. Washington, an active member of AA and NA. Jamie spent many hours assisting

others in their recovery process.

Interment in the Orr Cemetery

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral

Home in Mt. Washington and after 9:00 AM on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
