away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 5:24 PM at TJ Health Columbia Emergency Room

He was born on March 20, 1933 in the Absher community in

Adair County

He was the son of the late Ernest Ray & Ruby Cox Rice

He is survived by a longtime companion of 56 years Ann Cowan of Columbia, KY

special cousins Josephine Hubbard & Roberta Crouch of

Columbia, KY

Special friends Larry Irvin & Marshall Irvin of Columbia, KY

& a host of other relatives & friends survives

He was a member of Plum Point Baptist Church, longtime farmer, a member

of the Adair County Cattlemen Association,

FFA member, served his country in the U.S. Navy, a veteran

of the Korean War & was a member of the VFW
