James Willard Nokes age 74 years of 115 Music Lane Columbia, Ky. passed away Monday August 25, 2008 at 2:32 P. M. at his home after an illness

He was the son of the late James Arnie & Mary Willin England Nokes

Survived by his wife of 52 years Jean Estes Nokes of Columbia, Ky.

Two daughters: Susan Nokes of Columbia, Ky. & Angie Pierce & her husband

Allen of Campbellsville, Ky.

One brother: Shelby Nokes of Louisville, Ky.

Three Grandchildren: Brandon Scott Nokes, Reba Jean Shanklin & Shelbie Ann Marie Pierce

Aunts: Dorothy Fletcher of Glensfork, Ky. & Estelle Bye of New Albany, IN

Also surviving several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, retired in 1993 from Frito Lay in Louisville, Ky. as a Truck driver, receiving the Million Miler award in 1987,

He Served in the U. S. Army & was a member of Lodge #511 Valley Station, Ky.

Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery with military honors by local VFW Post 6097
