He was born on Nov. 27, 1944 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Elbert & Pauline Barton McAnelly

also preceded by his step-father Wayne White

He is survived by his wife: Doris Brown McAnelly of Columbia, KY

Two daughters: Regena (Charles) Sneed of Russell Springs, KY

Diana (Darrell) Shepherd of Jamestown, KY

One son: James "Wesley" (Velkys) McAnelly of Yorktown, VA

Five brothers: Sebert Lonza McAnelly of Columbus, IN

Jack McAnelly of Madison Heights, VA

Bob (Roberta) McAnelly of Columbus, IN

Bill (Pam) McAnelly of Bloomington, IN
