James Clyde "Jimmy" Holladay age 66 years of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at 3:00 AM at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY after an illness.

He was born on February 2, 1947 in Louisville, KY

He was the son of the late: Frank and Mary Garnett Patterson Holladay of Columbia, KY

Survived by one sister;

Patricia Holladay Bennett and husband James E. of Columbia, KY

One niece:

Fancy Melton of Frederick, Maryland

Also survived by several cousins and a host of friends and former students.

Mr. Holladay was a retired elementary art teacher for 28 years in the

Adair County School System. He was a former member of the Jaycees and the Columbia Kiwanis Club. He was of the Methodist faith.

He enjoyed amateur radio and a past member of the Central KY Amateur Radio Club

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church - 2267 Jones Chapel Road, Columbia, KY

Interment in the Union Cemetery at Gradyville, KY

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church
