James Frances Coomer, age 69, of Shepherdsville, KY formerly of Columbia, KY passed away at his home on November 28, 2016

James was born February 8, 1947, the son of the late Dolie Frances and Hazel Ezerene Murrell Coomer

He was preceded in death by two wives: Sandy Bates Coomer and Martha Thomas Coomer

In addition to his spouses he was preceded in death by one brother Albert Coomer and a sister Lois England

Survived by one son: James Michael Coomer

Three step-children: Teresa Geary, Jamie Gooch & Sharon Murphy all of Louisville, KY

Two sisters: Martha Jo Darnell of Louisville, KY

Clarice Willis of New Albany, IN

Also survived by several relatives and friends

Graveside service: Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM CST at the Stone Cemetery; Stone Cemetery Rd., Fairplay, KY

Clergy officiating: Rev. Elbert Hadley
