JAMES ROLLAND BEVELL age 82 years a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab in Columbia, KY passed away Thursday,

November 1, 2007 at 11:05 P.M. at Summit Manor after a long illness.

He was a native of Batesville, Mississippi the son of the late:

Parley Pratt and Sallie Lee Gray Bevell

He was preceded in death by his wife:

Goldia Jeanetta (Judy) Gifford Bevell on March 11, 2005

Survived by 8 daughters:

Brenda Jones of Martinsville, Indiana,

Linda Grider of Columbia, KY

Ruby Baker of Delphi, Indiana,

Sandy Loy of Columbia, KY

Ethel Bevell of Columbia, KY

Edna Keltner of Columbia, KY

Marilyn Janes of Milltown, KY

Lois Janes of Columbia, KY

Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and was preceded in death by 1 grandchild

Mr. Bevell was of the Methodist faith, a US Navy World War II veteran, he was employed by General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Willow Springs, Illinois for 36 years
