Jake Smith age 85 years a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home formerly of the Cane Valley Community passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 12:30 A. M. at Summit Manor Nursing Home

He was the son of the late Robert Clark & Mattie Ann Bault Smith of Adair County

Survived by his wife: Mildred Ferrill Smith of Columbia, Ky.

One daughter: Charlotte Ramsey & her husband John of Glasgow, Ky.

Preceded in death by one daughter: Barbara Hackett

Also surviving one brother Benny Smith of Columbia, Ky.

One sister: Earline Hancock of Louisville, Ky.

4 Grandchildren: Greg Hackett & his wife Holly, Melanie Murphy & her husband Chris, Sara Ramsey & Laura Beth Ramsey

4 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survives

Preceded in death by two brothers & one sister: Bobby Smith, Tommy Smith & Cornelia Wright

Jake was a member of Cane Valley Baptist Church & a retired farmer
