VITUS "JACK" GOODIN age 82 years of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY

He was born February 19, 1929 the son of the late: John Alfred and Mary Jane Burton Goodin of

Adair County, Kentucky

He was a member of the Purdy Separate Baptist Church and was a retired grocery store owner and a farmer who loved the outdoors and was a US Army veteran

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Queenie Willis and Pauline Gentry

Six half sisters: Emmer Simmons, Marthie Burton, Mary Lou Goodin, Ethel Williams, Doshie Willis, Soffie Shepherd

Three half brothers: Lawrence Goodin, Elbert Goodin and Claudy Goodin

Mr. Goodin is survived by his wife of 61 years: Geneva Burton Goodin of Columbia, KY

Three daughters: Vicky Goodin of Nashville, TN

Julia Goodin of Des Moines, Iowa

Cindy Lawrence and husband John of Springfield, KY

One son: Jackie Goodin and wife: Barbara of Columbia, KY

One sister: Josephine Willis of Springfield, Illinois

One grandson: Christopher Goodin of Columbia, KY
