Irene "Cookie" Curtis, 77, of Columbia, Ky passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her residence. She was born on August 4, 1946, in Harlan, KY to the late Haywood and Cora Farley Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Curtis.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by her son Robert Lee Curtis (Mary Ann) of Columbia, KY; six grandchildren Ashley Vaught, Amber Curtis, Chris Seymour, Anthony Hughes, Jeffrey Montano, and Alexis Haupt and several great grandchildren; two sisters Betty Rice (Hobert) of Carrollton, KY and Mildred "Pearl" Holliman of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Anthony Charles and Jeffrey Michael Curtis, a grandson Nicholas Siemer, and four siblings Hayward Harris, Loretta Patterson, Kermit Harris, and Carlos Harris.

Mrs. Curtis chose cremation and there will be a memorial visitation on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
