Ila Jean Stearns age 66 years of Walls Road Columbia, KY formerly of Russell Springs, passed away Friday

April 6, 2012 at 10:40 PM at her home after several months illness

She was born on Feb. 20, 1946 in Russell County

She was the daughter of the late Carl & Jennie Montgomery Hurt

Survived by three children:

Glenn Stearns & wife Sandy of Columbia, KY

Michael Stearns & wife Sandy of Columbia, KY

Carla Denton & husband Troy of Columbia, KY

Two brothers: Charles Hurt & Bennie Hurt of Indiana

Two sisters: Dorlee Lane & Jerrie Dunbar of Russell Springs, Ky.

Three Grandchildren: Whitney Stearns, Jared Denton & Laykn Stearns

Special friends: Larry & Sue Barbour of Glasgow, Ky. & Jeanette Goss of Indiana

Several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives & friends survive

She was a member of Columbia Church of the Nazarene & had worked at Carhartt in Edmonton
